I found an amazing tool for my Android phone called the “Mindfulness Bell”. The Buddhist teacher Thich Nhat Hanh shares this is an effective means of developing mindfulness. The bell rings periodically (you can choose the timing) to give you an opportunity to hold on for a moment and consider what you are currently doing, and in what state of mind you are in – possibly without even knowing it.
When its beautiful tone rings, it reminds me to breathe deep, to be in the moment, to check in with self to ensure I’m living my truth, not an old story. Highly recommended! I found it on Play Store, here is the link. Am sure iPhone has one as well.
