Yummy – the healing properties of sage and garlic are phenomenal!

After a long week off, I’m happy to finally be back in the kitchen, cooking and sharing my humble recipes with you all.
Simply  delicious this potato bake will steal the show with its looks and flavours! Bake it this Sunday 🙂

Preparation time 20 min
Cooking time 1 hour
Ingredients

5-6 large potatoes thinly sliced using a mandolin or a sharp knife
50-60g butter
2 cloves garlic crushed
1 small brown onion finely diced
10-15 sage leaves
1 cup whipping ( pouring ) cream
Salt and pepper

Method

Preheat oven to 180C.
Prepare a ceramic oven proof 20cm ramekin dish or any other baking dish.

Melt butter in a frying pan. Add onion, garlic and sage. Sauté till lightly caramelised and fragrant.

Place sliced potatoes into a large bowl. Add caramelised onion with garlic and sage, generously season with salt and pepper and mix well using hands.
