1 Cup Coconut Milk
1 Cup Orange Juice
1/2 Cup Fresh Chopped Pineapple
Chill all ingredients before using. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth. If you prefer to thicken the smoothie, put it in the freezer for 45 minutes.
This smoothie contains 2 tablespoons coconut oil, which is a Medium-Chain Fatty Acid (MCFA). The MCFA’s in coconut oil are broken down and used predominately for energy production and thus seldom end up as body fat or as deposits in arteries or elsewhere.
They produce energy, not fat, nor do they have a negative effect on blood cholesterol.
